Many moons ago I would sing at work (Stuff-yer-Face)NJ. With your compliments and encouragement I decieded that singing is what I wanted to do. Took a Long time to get the strength to go to TN. So, totally unprepared I went, unfortunatly and obviously had to come back home. Sorry to say Tn folk are not good tippers and I couldn't survive enough to pursue any singing. (By the way, Thank you for your help there.) Life since has brought me here... a wife and mother. I still fondly think of Stuff-yer-face and TN. I remember lots of your songs from BBBB. Love "That's what I Like..." Well Best Wishes Eddie. I'm, glad I got to find your site. Donna

Old friends move south, but they stay Yankee fans... and that's what I like about the North.
...but it was awful memorable in junior year listening to the Miracle Mets on the transistor radio during school...

Hi Ed. Not sure if you got my e-mail. Glad to see you're doing well in the business. I played drums with Horse Opra in the early years (we played Great Adventure during the summer). I still play in bands, but just for fun. Hope to hear from you. Do you ever hear from J.C. Scott or Chuck Ehrmann? Take it easy,

Hey Eddie,
I've heard that Badabing Badaboom played at Beachaven Winery back in 2003, though I missed the show because I was in Iraq, and have been in and out traveling since. What's the odds that B.B. is still doing shows? I'd love to try and catch one if ya'll still play together. Thanks.

Hi Ed:
My name is Dan Pagdon Sr. Way back when (1975)--I met you when you were playing with Bobby Lee and Miro in the Renegade Band. After you left the band they hired my son Dan to play bass. They played on for several years with different members in and out over the years (like most bands) and they rehearsed in my house. Dan is living in Catskill NY and is currently playing bass with Denise Jordan Finley. I often wonder how musicians I've met have fared over the years. I'm happy to see that you have done well and did not have to abandon your chosen career. In your bio I see Gary Oliyar on fiddle and Art Cranston on drums. Gary lives nearby in Cranford and I see him play now and then. Art and his brother Jeff played with my son in the renegade band for years. I'm just curious to learn what he has been up to lately. Do you have an email address for Art. Or send him mine. Thanks, Dan

I tip my hat to a big part of baseball history! We should take a moment to think and say thanks when they close the lights on the way out of Yankee Stadium!!
Did you know that once they close Yankee Stadium there will only be one park left that Jackie Robinson played in?? We don't treasure history as much we should and I don't just mean baseball.

August 11, 2008
Hey, Eddie! I'm at work killing time before a meeting and I googled my name. About 16 pages of some guy in New York who's a big politician, a writer and some important doctor share my name. I'm easily the least important John Venditto. Then, I see my name in your story about Horse Opra. So I see it's you, and it sounds like you're doing great. Looks like you fit in well down there, it's great that you're immersed in your greatest love. As for me, I married Cathy (don't know if you met her...), bought a home in Somerville and have 2 boys, one 18 and the other 9. I'm doing fine, Greg lives a few miles away in Bridgewater, he's doing fine also, 3 kids. I have my bass on it's stand, in my bedroom, dust covered. We don't play anymore (duh). Have you ever heard from Artie? He could be dead. Happy for you, peace, bro.

Eddie,
Howyadoin! In the kitchen, daddy flicks his Camel's. No more flicking cigarettes, I'm really happy you got the balls to finally quits smoking. But I have to say, nobody looked as cool as you with a cigarette hanging from your bottom lip except maybe Bogey. Keep up the good work, what are you going to do with all the money you save now that you're not buying cigarettes? now that you quit smoking, I know Jennie the drummer will be celebrating. keep up the good work. Eddie,
Hey stranger; hope you're doing well. Maureen told me the other day that you had posted a bunch of Bada Bing videos on You Tube, so I checked them out and, WOW, what a bunch of great memories. I hadn't listened to the CD's in a long time but I've pulled them out and am sitting here listening, dancing and having a ball remembering this INCREDIBLE music. I just had to tell you Eddie how awesome you all were and how much I MISS being able to see you guys live! Your music is just superb, and that's NO BULL. I only wish that you and the group would have received the record deal and success you certainly deserved. Ah - the strange world of the music business these days; where is the creativity?????
Did Maureen tell you we saw "Jersey Boys" when it was here in town in June? GREAT show and story; I think you would have loved it. Well, I still say you could write a Broadway show, as so many of your tunes are great character pieces.
Well, thanks for these wonderful Bada Bing tunes, every time I hear them I can't help but SMILE. They're just FUN, FUN, FUN!
Take Care and God Bless.

What happened to the Bada Bing Bada Boom Band! I have been checking the internet last few years trying to find out where you were playing. My wife and I have the band's CD's and she is playing one of them now: "That's what I like about the North." I think it's on the first CD. We saw the band twice in Montgomery, AL. and have wondered what happened to you guys. I have checked the internet and it looked like the band was no more.
We loved your performances.
Y'all were great music and great fun. Wish you were still together.

Hiya Eddie
I am in independent film maker from Australia and I am making a doco about 3 sisters who have the breast cancer gene. I am following them as they deal with this genetic information. It’s a very intimate and moving story which I would like to show you one day.
There is a scene in the film where one of the sisters is swing dancing with her husband and they are dancing to
“Boogie Woogie Bookie from Puducah Kentucky”
Are you the composer of this track? I would like to request permission to use this track for 1 minute within my film.
I look forward to your response.

Oh Eddie, That is FABULOUS!!!
Congratulations! (As the Giants are going down 13-2 in Milwaukee).
Can I buy it?
Why do I have a Yankee Barbie and a Derek Jeter doll in my closet??!!
Why don't I have a team? They're like, 11-1 already. What's up with Zito? Wonder if his guitar playing is suffering like his W/L record.
Opening day is Monday here-- I'm taking Sofia out of school, as usual. :-)
Have a good one, Eddie. Great news on the song.
(Did I ever tell you my favorite line from "that's what I like about the North" is the one about watching baseball in the Bronx on an October night..." ? If it was anyone but the Yankees I'd say you were overly optimistic, but considering the time you wrote it, maybe not - just spoiled! Either way, it always makes me smile.)

Cool my brotha---very cool. But don't go a-dyin' just yet.
Are you ready for another season? Today the joke around here about the Tigers is:
Knock knock
Who's there?
Owen?
Owen who?
O and 5 so far this year.
We're usually saying that about the Lions but since the Tigs are the #2 payroll behind your stanks, it's a little unnerving for such a start.
